Happy Chinese Restaurant in New South Wales

"Old school Chinese food that hit the spot after a week of eating at pubs. The location is outside and we almost missed it, as it's at the end next to a Korean bbq. The salt and pepper pork (not pictured) was so good - crispy, thin batter and lean meat. Other dishes Mongolian Beef, sweet and sour pork, rice noodles with beef and vegetables in garlic and oyster sauce all under $20 each. We will be back next time we are in Dubbo."

"Really good portions considering the price. Being one of the cheapest in the area my expectations were highly met! I got the deluxe fried rice and sweet and sour pork and spring rolls. Spring rolls were huge and the fried rice had massive prawns in it. Would 100% order again."

"This was my ist time ordering dinner here for my family. Wow ! As a chef myself i was well impressed with the food, absolutely spot on. We had a variety of dishes including lemon and satay chicken, mongolian beef and fried rice. The flavours were perfectley balanced, juicy tendor meat and sauces made proper ! Enjoyed a friendly chat with the owner which was nice also. This will now be me and my familys go to spot for chinese. Highly recommended!"

"We rocked up about an hour before closing time. The guy behind the counter said, "No dine in, only take away" as I looked around at all the empty tables. Could have started with a hello. Then he told us that they're already closed and we need to order quickly. I was confused as they were an hour away from closing but I guess it was a cold, Monday night and we were the only guys there so perhaps his attitude was a reflection of us being the only thing keeping him away from his family/kids. Still, didn't feel welcome. Still giving this place a 4 stars as the food was okay and the lady who handed is the food was much nicer, i.e. handed is our food with a smile and said 'bye'."

"Regularly get takeaway for work lunch and the odd family (of 6) dinner . The food is always good and fresh and have been a return customer for a few years now, i read the comments before giving this review henry is no conversationalist as he's always flat in the kitchen (hats off to him) however the one time they were quiet i have had a nice chat with him! Joanne is always lovely to deal with (hats off to her) whilst running from the kitchen to the counter all day . Great husband wife team"
